Apple does not allow for group account creation, so supporters would not be able to create groups and pay for them. Additionally, many self-advocates don’t use online purchasing, so they would not be able to subscribe to their own plan. Our goal is to work with providers, supporters, and self-advocates and have everything be as easy and transparent as possible.

Furthermore, Apple takes an insane cut from subscriptions! They take 30%, whereas Stripe takes about 3% flat. I’m already keeping the app mostly free to make it as accessible for self-advocates as possible. I’m not giving up 30% to Apple for an inferior system.
